Shoppers, Target, Walgreens and Sears open pharmacy hours in West Virginia
Shoppers and Target pharmacies across the country are opening pharmacy hours Monday in West Michigan to promote their new “Best Buy Pharmacy Hour” campaign.
The Best Buy Pharmacist Hour campaign encourages consumers to stop by stores for their daily medication needs with coupons, coupons, and special offers that include a chance to win a pharmacy-brand item or cash back.
This campaign will also be available for Target, Sears, and Walgets pharmacies as well.
The promotion comes as the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is currently evaluating the potential of a new opioid overdose medication that could be manufactured by Purdue Pharma.
The drug, called Morphine, has the potential to help people who are addicted to opioid medications but may not have the time or resources to obtain the medicine.
According to a recent press release, Purdue Pharma is seeking FDA approval for a new injectable opioid that it has dubbed Morphine-K.
The FDA will decide whether to approve the product for sale within six months of Purdue Pharma submitting a proposal to the agency.
