What you need to know about the new Hy-Vee pharmacy in Edmonton
The newest pharmacy in the Edmonton community is a place to shop for everything from hy-vees to shampoo.
“This is the first Hy-vee in the city,” said resident Amanda McQueen.
The pharmacy is open seven days a week, 7:00am to 9:00pm.
Its location on Main Street in the northeast corner of the city is right in the heart of downtown Edmonton.
There are also three other Hy-vee pharmacies across the city, located on the northwest corner of Main and Macdonald.
I am really excited to go to this place,” said McQueen, adding she has never had a complaint about the quality of her products.
Hy-vees, or topical creams, are used to treat dry skin, pimples and skin conditions.
Some brands, like Kmart and Walgreens, offer them for free.
It’s a great option for anyone who needs to get a quick fix.”
It’s very convenient,” said Lisa McCourt, owner of Lazy Cat Bakery and Grocery.
A hy-veeen is also an option for those who like to shop in bulk.”
We have a whole bunch of them in the store, so we have some that are about 40 pounds each,” said McCourt.
She has used the Hy-Vee in the past, and it’s a much cheaper alternative to buying a regular hy-dermic.”
There are a lot of people who are looking for that convenience,” said Macdonald, who added the shop is also one of the few places in the community where people can get an emergency hy-dog.”
For people who need to use it, it’s really convenient,” she said.
McQueen said she likes the store because of the location, as well as the fact it is free.”
This store is really convenient.
I think we can use it in a couple of other places,” she added.
You can buy hy-dogs at many pharmacies around the city.
The Hy-vises are available in Walgops, Safeway and Walmart stores, and they can be purchased online for about $7.25 each.
