How to get the most out of the pharmacy near you
The answer is simple: get in the habit of using your phone when you’re in the pharmacy.
That’s because most of the time, you won’t be in the hospital, and your mobile phone can help you make the most of your time in the doctor’s office.
According to a survey of over 2,000 pharmacy associates conducted by research firm NPD Group, smartphone users have an 81% greater likelihood of having an appointment than non-users.
This means you can make appointments with ease by taking advantage of your phone’s convenient features.
When you’re at home, your phone has the ability to record your appointments for you to review later, so you can keep an eye on them.
In addition, many pharmacies also offer free, high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity to give you access to the web, messaging, and email as well as access to a range of apps.
Mobile phone apps can also help you plan your visit and keep tabs on your time.
If you’re going to be out of town, you can even set up a reminder that you’ll be back soon.
And for those times when you can’t make appointments, the most convenient way to make them is by using a smartphone app that lets you easily check the status of your prescriptions and the current status of the doctor.
