Walmart, Costco, Target and Walgreens have the largest salary packages in the US.
All of the companies earn more than $400,000 annually, and all three companies have some form of health insurance.
Walmart has the largest, at $3,829,900.
The other three companies, which all have large retail stores, make $1,250,000 and $1.5 million.
Costco, which is based in New York, has the second-highest pay package at $2,861,800, and Target, which has a chain of pharmacies in New England, has a $1 million annual salary.
The median pay in the country is $43,900, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Retail sales in the United States are expected to hit $12.7 trillion by the end of 2021.
The top five companies in the industry each earned $3.4 trillion in sales in 2016, according a survey from research firm Euromonitor.
