Colts’ Andrew Luck will not play in Week 15 due to neck injury
Colts quarterback Andrew Luck has been ruled out of Thursday night’s game against the Browns due to a neck injury, the team announced.
Luck will be replaced by rookie Quinton Patton, who will start at left tackle.
The Colts’ offense will likely move to the shotgun, with Luck returning to the pistol.
He was sacked three times and picked off three times by Cleveland’s linebackers in the first two games.
The Browns have allowed three sacks in their last two games, including one by Luck.
Luck did not participate in the team’s locker room workout Wednesday, which was held to keep him healthy.
The Colts released a statement late Wednesday evening saying he has been cleared to return to practice.
