Walmart to open 1,200-seat pharmacy at new store in Texas
Wal-Mart is building a new pharmacy in Texas that could serve the region’s growing population of elderly and disabled people.
The store, which will be located in the former Giant Pharmacy, will have a pharmacy space that can accommodate up to 500 people.
It’s part of the company’s push to attract new shoppers into the community.
The Wal-Marts in Texas are expected to open in the coming months, according to a report by the Houston Chronicle.
“We’re excited to have Wal-mart as part of our community.
They’re really a leader in our community, and they’re really well positioned,” Wal-Man CEO Michael Johnson said.
